Shelf life1 answer
Do you know if the hotspot has a shelf life? I have owned a couple of chairs that came with a hotspot but never tried it until now (3 years later). Once activated it is warm (not hot) for no more than 5 minutes and then goes back to room temperature within 10 minutes.
Brock - Gold Coast, QLD(5 months ago)
G'day Brock,
These don't necessarily have a shelf life but last 500 uses and should keep warm longer than 5 minutes! I would send us an email with some more details or fill out a Warranty Form so we can look into this further!

Cooling use1 answer
When you sue the hotspot for cooling do you put it in the fridge with or without the crystals?
Konrad - Newcastle, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Konrad,
Without the crystals. If it has had heat activation, it should be reset before chucking it in the fridge or freezer, just like a standard gel pack. Hope that helps!

Heat time and re-use1 answer
How long does the heat last for once the pouch is activated and do you have to boil the bag every time between uses?
Stuart - Kahibah, NSW(6 years ago)
G'day Stuart,
I've just given Oztent a buzz to confirm this, and the heat from the HotSpot will last from 1-1.5 hours once it's activated.
Once you do activate it by clicking the metal disk, it will cool down and solidify so you just need to add it to boiling water to have it ready to use again.
