Meals for Lactose Intolerant people1 answer
Hi,
which Back Country meals are suitable for people who are Lactose intolerant?
Thanks
Russell - Canberra(7 years ago)
G'day Russell,
I've spoken to the supplier about your query and had a look through the Back Country Cuisine Website myself and this is what I have found.
From what I understand of lactose, this is contained in dairy products. The vast majority of Back Country Cuisine meals have dairy in them. The ones we could find that did not have dairy in them were the Sweet and Sour Lamb, and the Spaghetti Bolognaise.
However, all the Back Country Cuisine meals are made in premises that process dairy. There are measures put in place to prevent contamination which you can read about here, but none of these meals are labelled as lactose-free.
I apologise that I couldn't give you a more straightforward answer Russell, but I hope this helps.

How long is the used by date on these?1 answer
Felicity - COORANBONG, NSW(9 years ago)
G'day Felicity - It looks as though our stock (as of right now - keep in mind that it'll vary as we sell through it and buy new stock in) varies between August and November 2018. Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul
