For the second part of your Heysen Trail adventure, you’ll need the Map 2 Kuitpo Forest to Tanunda – which covers the southern Mount Lofty Ranges for 144 kilometres.

This map is at a scale of 1:50 000 and is made from double sided water-resistant paper to protect it in a drizzle. This section of the iconic Australian trail takes you through pine forest, historic goldfields and towns, native bushland, vineyards and the towns in the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills.

It also details the loop trails in national parks, where you can get supplies and find facilities, important contact information if you need it, where the campsites and accommodation are and some tips for staying safe on the walk.
