Suspension Straps1 answer
Hi I was just wondering if this product replaces normal hammock suspension straps or if I will have to buy them on top of this?

G'day Tarsha,
These are not suspension straps, they are tree protectors used to wrap around a tree to create an anchor point for the suspension straps. They're not interchangeable, you need suspensions straps in order to hang your hammock. These tree protectors are only relevant if you are wanting to set up on trees instead of man-made structures.

Do I need tree protectors 1 answer
Hi, just wondering if i need to have the sea to summit tree protestors in order to use the suspension straps on a pro hammock? Thanks
Hayden - 4740(6 years ago)
You don't need them, them, Hayden, but you will need the hammock suspension straps - https://www.snowys.com.au/hammock-suspension-straps. The tree protectors are a good idea if you are suspending your hammock to a tree though as they are a wider strap that reduces the chance of the tree becoming damaged.
