Engineered to last and designed to make camping life easier, the Galvanised Steel Screw Peg from Supa Peg can penetrate deep into hard ground.
Measuring 220mm in length from the base of the hex head to the tip, the steel rod is 183mm long to give a secure hold. The heavy-duty spinning head has been redesigned to incorporate the spinning feature - meaning you can have your rope already attached when inserting the peg, and are less likely to get your fingers caught! The head has also been designed with a generous amount of room underneath the wings to cater for rope up to 12mm thick.
Don’t mess around with a hammer and bendy pegs any longer. Pack your drill and some Galvanised Steel Screw Pegs from Supa Peg and you’ll be kicking back in no time.
Hi. I have a dometic Santorini air tent with a lot of peg points and guy tapes. The tent has plastic triangular loops for pegging out the base of the tent and for guying out the tent, it has fabric tapes instead of actual guy ropes. Is it possible to use these screw-in pegs with these? I am wondering if they will fit around the black plastic part of the screw-peg (where you would usually have your guy ropes looped around). And also if the screw-pegs will fit through the holes of the plastic triangles and the fabric tape loops without getting caught up or causing them to break when drilling? Also are these screw pegs suitable for using on regular grassy soil or only for hard ground? I assume they would hold as well as the regular shepherds hook pegs that come with dometic tent ? If these are not suitable, can you advise if there are any other screw-type pegs that would work better? Thanks for your help.
G'day Lisa,
You shouldnt have any issues using these pegs with the Dometic Santorini tent - the black plastic hooks will work with the peg loops and the guy straps.
Screw pegs are suitable for use on a range of different ground surfaces, including regular grassy soil, just makes it easier to get them in and pull them out.
They'd perform the same, if not better, than standard tent pegs.
Hope that helps!
