Is there much difference between the 1100 and 900 rolled up? What are the dimensions?

The packed dimensions of the Dusk To Dawn 900 are 94L x 26cm diameter, versus the 1100 that are 110L x 26cm diameter.

The Darche Dusk to Dawn Swag 900 doesn't come with the awning poles, they are sold separately but you can grab them here. As for the roll-up straps, they've got rings on them that you feed the straps through.

The Oztrail Easy Fold Jumbo Stretcher would be a fantastic option - very easy to set up and super durable. The Darche Dusk Till Dawn 900 is 215 x 90 cm so the stretcher will come up 5cm short in the length, but this shouldn't worry you too much.

Help just purchased this swag and I am covered in sandfly bites!1 answer

Took our new swag out for its maiden voyage to our favourite spot yesterday and got eaten alive. I woke up to see sandfly sqeezing through the not so fine mesh. Please help with a solution or I have just wasted a lot of money on this product. Thanks

Sorry to hear this! Sandflies can be such an annoyance! We'd love to look into this as it doesn't reflect the usual quality of mesh from Darche swags. Can you send our Warranties Manager, Nick an email to service@snowys.com.au with photos of the mesh (so we can get an idea of what you're currently struggling with) and he'll be able to look into this further.

The Darche Dusk to Dawn 1100 is supposed to come with a heavy duty canvas carry bag, so if you purchased your swag from us, please give us a call on 1300 914 007 so that we can help you out.

Darche don't sell the bag that comes with the Dusk to Dawn separately - but this swag is quite large so you would need a bigger bag like the AOS Swag Bag Double to accommodate the width of the Dusk to Dawn 1100.

I am needing a easy over night swag to sleep in for 2 ppl. Once a month I go away for a night and tents are getting to hard to put up and pack up for just one night. I am after a double swag around $300 ish to buy

The Darche Dusk Till Dawn comes in three sizes Kelly, the 900 is a king single size, the 1100 is a roomy single or squeezy double, and the 1400 is a comfortable double, but by the time you get to this size the price is well over $400. In your price range the Oztrail Mitchell Expedition Double (search for code 45682 on our website) is prpbably the best value buy. For a little extra the True Blue Bluey Bigfoot Dome Swag - Double (code 45858) offers 100% cotton canvas, better quality poles and a denser more comfortable mattress. These are not free-standing models and require two pegs. I hope this helps.

Can vents at each end be closed?1 answer

I was wondering if the vents at each end of the swag can be closed/do they have a zip up flap to prevent draughts and heat loss in windy conditions?

Hi Mike, the vents at the ends of the swag can't be closed. At the head end there is a canvas flap that you can zip closed to stop the draughts coming in, but not at the foot end. The storm flap on the vent is quite large so it should keep any incoming breeze to a minimum, and of course having one end open will help to keep your swag well ventilated and reduce any condensation build-up.
