Born in 1898 by Hans Deuter in Augsburg-Oberhausen with the supply of mailbags for the Bavarian Royal Mail, and for the next 100+ years produced numerous forms of canopies, pack saddles, backpacks and bags (some of them leather) for clients including the armed forces and extreme alpinists.
