With excellent insulation, plush thickness and a very clever design – the Sea to Summit Comfort Deluxe Insulated Rectangular Wide is an excellent choice for nights out in the wilderness.

This mat features 8cm or air sprung cells, which provides luxurious comfort and insulation when you’re out in the elements.  The Comfort Deluxe Insulated utilises Sea to Summit’s Exkin Platinum® fabric which reflects radiant heat, and Thermolite® insulation which prevents convective heat loss. The smart dual layer design means that if you accidentally puncture one layer, the other remains fully functional so you’ll never be left sleeping on the cold hard ground.

The interior features anti-microbial treatment to keep it free of bacteria, and you can inflate the top later to your level of comfort, while independently maintaining a high-pressure base which will protect the bottom of your mat. This mat also features a multi-function valve which means you can easily inflate, deflate, and you can fine tune the air pressure to your exact needs. For off-grid camping trips, the luxurious Comfort Deluxe Insulated Rectangular Wide mat will keep you comfortable and warm through the night.

  • Exkin Platinum® fabric and Thermolite® insulation to minimise heat loss
  • Dual layer design
  • Anti-microbial treated inner
  • Multifunction valve for inflation, deflation and adjusting air pressure
  • Includes stuff sack, repair kit, and spare one-way valve flap
  • Ideal for camping, and care camping

Very comfortable

I slept on this mat for 2 weeks camping on Iceland. It surpassed my expectations. I never felt cold on it, it was easy to inflate with the pump sack provided and easy to deflate. Most of all it was really comfortable. I have 4 stars and not 5 because it is expensive.

Comfort plus comparison? 1 answer

Hi How does this product compare/differ from the large insulated comfort plus Sea to Summit mat?

- Denistone West(4 weeks ago)

G'day Caroline,

The Sea to Summit Comfort Deluxe is 1.7cm thicker and features a soft knit nylon top which reduces noise and is softer to touch. It can be several hundred grams heavier, depending on which size you choose. Also, the comfort plus comes in a rectangular and a tapered shape, whereas the deluxe is rectangular only.
