12v fan

fast easy purchase, well done
Fan works a treat, only one very small complaint for me--- the green power lights are too bright in a small bedroom, coloured them in, now perfect

Worked well

Within the first week of purchasing this fan our suburb had a 24hr blackout! Temperature was over 30 degrees with high humidity. I think it was over this time period that I fell in love with the fan. Made sleeping just that bit more bearable. It is significantly louder on high than medium but preferred the extra wind over the noise. Almost like white noise. Would be nice if it came with a 240v adapter but with a off grid camp set up doesn't matter as I just bring the battery in when I want to use it. Would recommend the fan for sure.

Ideal for my Troopy camper setup.

A bit noisy in top speed but it does the job of allowing a decent sleep out bush.
Prompt shipping to WA.

This fan blows

The coolest thing I’ve ever got for camping. Couldn’t be more chilled and relaxed. Well done in providing the winds just as I need.

Current Draw1 answer

Can anyone confirm the current draw? I have built a 12v system for my camper, and need to add this into my calcs to see if we can run it. Thanks

- Western Australia 6065(4 weeks ago)

G'day Jack,

The current draw on the Outdoor Connection Breezeway depends on the fan setting being used. The figures that Outdoor Connection have provided us are Low - 0.2Ah | Medium - 0.4Ah | High - 1.05Ah ( /- 0.05Ah). I hope this will help you get your system all sorted out.

will it work up side down?1 answer

want to mount on the ceiling

- bundaberg(3 months ago)

G'day Paul,

There is nothing to say that the Outdoor Connection Breezeway 12V Fan officially can or can't hang upside down, but I've just gone and fired our display one up and held it upside down for a few minutes and it seemed to work fine.

Charging time?2 answers

Running time on low?

- Trinity Beach(5 months ago)

G'day Janet,

The Outdoor Connection Breezeway 12V Fan doesn't have a charge time as it comes with a built-in battery, as it runs directly from a 12v source.

- Snowys(5 months ago)

G'day Ben,

Sorry, yes. You're right, I worded that previous answer really poorly. It doesn't have a battery, it just runs straight from the 12V connection. Sorry for any confusion!

What is the volume of air the van delivers1 answer

- NEWCASTLE WEST, NSW(2 years ago)
Unfortunately this sort of information is not supplied for any of the fans in our range sorry Peter. The best information I can give you is that this fan, along with the new fans from Coleman are the best 12V fans we have seen to date, and would be enough to efficiently move air around a family sized tent.

Details for Breezeway 12v Fan1 answer

Do the feet have to be secured while in use ? Can the fan be adjusted up and down ? If placed at end of bed in a caravan will it send a good breeze over the full length of the bed ? What material is it made from ? Thank you. Peter.

- MIDDLE RIDGE, QLD(3 years ago)
Hi Peter, the feet don't need to be secured, it has a plastic body, feet and blades and there are no 'up/down' adjustments. In terms of air flow, the blade diameter is large and it will give more than enough circulation over the area of a bed, especially on the highest setting. Hope this answers all your queries.
