Does this scratch easily? 1 answer
The reviews of the aluminium table mention that the surface scratches very easily. Do you know if the melamine is more resistant to scratching?

Hi Dan,
As far as I can find, we haven’t had any negative feedback regarding scratching or damage with the Bi-Fold Steel Table Melamine Top from Oztent.
Unfortunately I can’t test the scratch resistance of both models in store, but it would appear from comparing them in real life that the melamine may have a slightly harder surface as aluminium is a fairly soft metal.Â
However that doesn’t mean it’s scratch resistant - if you drag a heavy cast iron pot over the melamine it will probably scratch the surface so you'd have to excerise a bit of caution.Â

Packed size1 answer
Is the melamine top packed size correct, as it is slightly smaller then the Aluminium top ? Which is correct ? Do both tables actually weigh the same ?
Simon - YALLINGUP , WA(8 years ago)
Hi Simon, apologies for the confusion here. I have updated the specifications so the correct dimension show on our website. Both tables measure the same in both packed and 'in use' size, and both versions of this table also weight the same. The tops of these are actually a timber or MDF with either Melamine or Aluminium veneer over the top, therefore don't affect the weight of the product.
