Are there any other colours
Suzanne - Swanbourne(5 years ago)
These are currently only available in the colour pictured, Suzanne. Whether or not EPE plan to make them in other colours is something we don't know sorry.

Does it come with a carry bag and how easy is it to put up? Is it similar to the Coolcabana1 answer
How is it in wind at the beach?
Karen - Otford(5 years ago)
G'day Karen,
The Beach Cabana comes in a handy carry bag with a carrying strap. I've not seen a Coolcabana in the flesh but the pictures look pretty similar. The screw in pole and sand pockets on the sides will help to keep it stable in the wind.

Could this shelter be erected on grass?3 answers
I would like to be able to use it for shade when I am camping solo as it would be easy for me to put up and take down and to move it around during the day. It wouldn't be used when raining and would be packed away in the van at night.

G'day Lyn,
You could use the Explore Planet Earth Beach Cabana on grass you would just need to find a way to secure the sides down, maybe with a few rocks in the pockets. There are a little like setting up an umbrella so it should be fine to set up solo.
Leece - Snowys(5 years ago)
Thanks Leece. What about the centre pole? I imagine it gives stability by being pushed into the sand. How would it go on grass?
Lyn - Newcastle (5 years ago)
G'day Lyn,
Yes, the centre pole has a screw at the bottom that is quite easy to screw into the sand, but might be a little trickier on grass, but still achievable. You might want to check that the park you're staying in would be happy to have holes in their grass though if it's not yours.
