This pack is expertly constructed with high-quality fast wicking and lightweight fabric for maximum comfort. Featuring a Sensifit system, it conforms to your body to prevent movement mid-run. The two included soft flasks sit in the pockets located at the front of your chest, reducing the sloshing and enabling movement of the neck down to drink without the hassel of removal. Hang a separate 1.5L bladder in this pack thanks to the insulated sleeve, allowing you to keep both a water and energy supply handy at all times. Highly accessible, this pack features a back kangaroo pocket, a main zipped compartment, and plenty of smaller pockets to keep the essentials within reach.
With the form wrapping design, breathable and comfortable fabrics, and superb construction - the Advanced Skin 5 Set will take your training to an entirely new level.

The specs mention 42 mm flask which I understand to be the wide mouth lids. The picture shows a flask with a small lid. Which one is it? Thanks
G'day Andrew,
All of the images I can see are showing the Salomon 42mm wide mouth lid. If you'd like to see a close-up image of the flasks that come with the Advanced Skin 5, you can find them individually here.
With the new flasks?
G'day Neville,
The information provided to us by Salomon includes SS20 in the model number and all our current stock has arrived within the last few months, so definitely should have the latest flasks included.
My chest size is 95cm so should I go for size S or M? Size up or down?
G'day Dan,
Based on customer feedback we'd recommend going up to the medium size if you're right on the cusp of the two sizes in the size chart.
It says the capacity is 5L, is that inclusive of the two 500mL pockets on the front. It also says 1.5L soft reservior ready | space for 2L reservior, does this mean there is room for 3.5L and if so where does the left over 500mL comes from in the total 5L capacity?
G'day Hayden,
The 5L capacity refers to the overall physical capacity of the vest. There are two 500ml soft bladders supplied with the vest, and you can pop in a 2L reservoir, however you won't be able to fit another reservoir, the remaining space is available for energy bars/gels.
My size according to the chart is right between the XS and S. Which size would be better and if I went with the smaller option would I still get full use of all the space eg if I used a bladder too?
G'day Lisa,
We tend to find that people on the cusp of the two sizes should go up to the larger size so they have full use of the Vest and accessories.
I’m confused by the size charts offering different measures for each gender. Is this a men’s vest and should I follow the men’s size chart as I come up as xs in that or small in ladies
G'day Michelle,
The Advance Skin 5 is a men's/unisex vest so yes, you'll need to use the Men's size chart.
